About the property…

Chalet Belin is a three-storey chalet sleeping up to 12 guests. There are six bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room.

The ground floor has four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room and toilet. There’s a bunk-style double bed in one of the rooms. A terrace with a hot tub, surrounded by trees, is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.

The garden level is completely open plan and filled with natural light, thanks to large windows on two sides. Beautiful original beams add to the character of this bright and spacious area.

Here, you will find a lounge with a large L-shaped sofa and television, a welcoming seating area with several sofas, and a large dining table where you can all eat together. The modern kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group. A balcony runs along the north-facing façade of Chalet Belin. This floor also has a toilet.

Outside, you can enjoy views of the garden from the tables on the terrace, or perhaps a game of table tennis in a former barn, which has been converted into an outdoor seating area.

The first floor overlooks the main living area. There are two more double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms and toilets. One of them also has a private balcony with mountain views.

On the practical side, Chalet Belin has a ski room with a heated boot dryer, a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as an outdoor parking space.

About the area…

With countless opportunities for hiking, cycling and mountain sports, Chalet Belin is perfectly situated for a mountain holiday at any time of year. Tucked away on the edge of the village of Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, it is just 600 metres from the Roc d’Enfer gondola lift and only a short shuttle ride from the Portes du Soleil resorts of Morzine (10km) and Montriond (8km).

There are 50km of pistes at the Roc d’Enfer ski area, as well as a ski school and an ice rink. There’s plenty for non-skiers to do in the winter too, with snowmobiling, ice climbing, sledging, snowshoe walks, and dog-sled rides.

Outside the ski season, the area is ideal for canoeing, karting, climbing and via ferrata at Rocher de la Chaux (5km). It’s just a 10-minute drive to the atmospheric ruins of Aulps Abbey, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens.

The nearby resorts of Morzine and Les Gets have been awarded the Famille Plus label for their family-friendly activities and facilities for children. You will find water parks and summer toboggan runs there, among other attractions. Indiana Parc offers treetop adventure courses, rafting and many other activities for all ages, while the Parc des Dérêches leisure centre has swimming pools, tennis courts, an ice rink, a skate park and a riding centre.
